It is about our District Attorney.
Rod was elected 4 years ago unopposed---the hand picked successor to a very popular DA. He immediately adopted a take no prisoners attitude towards defendants. Plea deals went out the window and as a result the criminal calendar backed up to the point that cases were having to be dismissed because they could not be tried in a constitutionally correct period ...

My love and I flew to Louisville last week for some exploring. Immediately I was informed that I had NOT done the best job of planning this trip, otherwise I would have known that it was time for Thunder on the Ohio. Apparently, this event is the largest fireworks spectacular known to man---or at least members of the chamber of commerce.

"Sorry, babe, but we have places to go and things to see."
