My understanding is when you get to the fenced in area of the grounds they will scan your ticket. The fenced in area is huge, mke is right. The track map that I saw had the fence line around the race track to the USAC area (yellow hashed lines). It looks like you could walk the whole way around, but I'm sure there has to be end fence somewhere. It's kinda like the USAC guys are in prison out there. But who knows all that may change when they think about it.
