TOMORROW the OFFICIAL COUNTDOWN BEGINS!!

tomorrow i will start my official countdown for my 2010 INDY 500 trip.

after all these years it becomes somewhat of a ritual for me.

"back in the day" it started on my birthday when i would receive as a gift a subscription to the INDIANAPOLIS STAR that would soon begin to arrive in the mail. but with all the new techie stuff, i haven't gotten the paper for a few years now.

this blog came to mind because of the uproar over the recent law passed in arizona regarding the attempt to deal with ILLEGAL ALIENS there.

howdy folks, it's my turn to try this blog thingy out.

i had my 55th birthday on tuesday so i'm older; but i'm newer too.

now how can that possibly be?

well, obviously with a birthday you are a calendar year older; but it is possible through change and assimulation to be newer.
