Not sure about NASCAR because I don't watch it, but Indycar seems to also be going through a similar debate. I wonder if or when we will go back to a competition between tire manufacturers?

I'm not quite sure just making the tires last longer is the answer. Alonso showed us that you don't have to play tire manager to win a GP, however I don't know if that means everyone will change from tire management to all out racing.

BTW where did Danica have all this road course success in America after washing out in England. We've had Indy car champions wash out in F1 so I'm not sure what the broadcast crew was seeing that made them think she would be good in F1. Hobbs disappointed me the most; "I only want to see her come to F1 if she gets a ride with a top team. Heck she always had top equipment in Indy Cars but was never anything but a mid-packer on road or street courses.
