Any idea why?

What's more obnoxious and overbearing?

A poster who is a big fan of a driver, or people constantly dwelling on how they think someone who has not yet wrecked is going to wreck? Constantly being negative about a potential star driver?

What's more obnoxious and overbearing?

A poster who has seen himself cross the line and deliberately made fun of himself through a parody about how Muņoz would get a tow from himself by going so fast, or those who told that guy he is on drugs, needs a wahmbulance, has an unhealth mancrush/obsession, etc?

What's more obnoxious and overbearing?

A poster who acknowledged in multiple posts where Muņoz may struggle (limited entry or by causing another driver to get into trouble), or posters who will never acknowledge anything positive about an IZOD IndyCar Series driver, no matter what he does?

What's more obnoxious and overbearing?

A poster who has wished all 33 drivers in many posts, taken comments that weren't personal attacks in good humor (i.e. "What? Did he go below the white line?" when Grizzlor made a comment about someone being insane/crazy/whatever), endured a lot of personal attacks over support of a driver (much like the many Ed Carpenter fans here have over the years), has maintained a positive outlook on the 500 independently of Muņoz (while others seem to just be totally depressed over the 500, constantly harping on how they're all going to wreck on lap one), and has offered enthusiasm and praise for many other competitors (Carpenter, Lazier, Mann, Legge) beyond Muņoz, or the moderator who feels it's appropriate to publicly call a poster who has caused no harm "obnoxious" and "ovebearing?"

I figured this was a place for fans. Evidently, it isn't. I'm not causing trouble (anymore ;)). Few agree with my opinions, but I haven't resorted to pictures of the "wahmbulance" to make them. I haven't called people who are worried about Muņoz "obnoxious" or "overbearing." I didn't go into threads about other drivers and come in with posts about how Muņoz is so much better and how those fans should like him instead.

You want overbearing?

It's the attitude that runs away passionate, enthusiastic people who actually like IndyCar racing. I'd address that over PM, but I was called out publicly, so it appears that is the preferred form.

I moderate another racing forum for a popular news site, and I'd never call someone obnoxious and overbearing for defending a driver getting unwarranted criticism, for congratulating the fans of other drivers who have had impressive months, or for demonstrating enthusiasm. I post here because there aren't many IndyCar fans there. Apparently, there aren't many IndyCar fans here, either.

No, I'm not walking out and leaving TF. I'm an adult. I don't need the "wahmbulance."

But is my enthusiasm for posting dampened? Yeah.

Can I see why a lot of racing fans I talk to on Twitter and other mediums regard this place as no better than Crapwagon? Yeah.

You had the decency to address Zapp et al privately about personal attacks, but then you decide to address a harmless poster with insults of your own, in public. That's not alright with me.

Thanks,
