    Trackforum Fan Tip, From Buellboy:
The non-MGM offstrip resort "South Point" has it's own Indy Weekend package. The deal includes room, Petty Terrace tickets, and transportation to and from the track, and to and from the airport. I've never stayed here before but the reviews on Trip Advisor are good and the package price is excellent.
    http://www.southpointcasino.com/hote...ckage.php#indy
Plus the added bonus, Buellboy and girl are staying here.
    Update from Trackforum fan remogarey:
RE: South Point. Good place. One of the best values in town. They have good slots and 3:2 blackjack. Some good dining too. The only downside would be the extra 10-15 mins to the track, depending on traffic.

    Trackforum Fan Tip, From gbfan:

I hope things heat up quickly because I was just at Las Vegas this past weekend and there is absolutely no mention of IndyCars anywhere.

I have seen tons of commercials and heard a lot of radio ads as well. They have put out a lot of local advertisements. Hopefully it pays off and this is a huge event.

    Btw, great info, thanks!

I noticed that on the current schedule, there's no IICS or FIL warmup before FIL race. Is that correct?

There is time for it, but I don't know the answer. I'm updating the schedule with some more details from the PDF schedule (second schedule link).

Did you guys sign up for the live chat with the IndyCar contenders? It's being hosted by Ortsbo (they call it Live and Global i think) and it can let us, the fans, ask questions of Dario Franchitti and Will Power. Apparently, Dan Wheldon will be hosting! I jusssst signed up! the link is here if you are interested http://www.indycarliveandglobal.com/

That will be great. It was not obvious from the schedule what that meant. I'm putting that explanation in the guide.
