    I-70 construction

East bound to Indy is bad. Road construction down to one lane for miles. Last week for time trials and today also delays 40 minutes long at Indiana mile marker 8. Breaks free a few miles then jams up again. Suggest you break free at Terre Haute and go up to 36. Even all the little 35 mph towns will not be as slow as this mess

70 West was a mess as well both weekends. I'm about sick of construction everywhere...Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, North Carolina. It never seems to end.

I am going to take your advice. I like driving 80 on the interstate, but do not like being stopped for construction delays. I assume the last few miles on 36 will not be very quick.

Construction sucks, but it puts a lot of people to work.

I went up for Pole Day via I-70 eastbound, getting on at Cloverdale, and had zero issues all the way in. No lane closures, no construction, nothing. Of course, I arrived at the speedway around 8:30.
