I just had a Maui Coconut Porter. I wasn't listening to anything.
Hey JK, I went to see the Moody Blues last week - had a nice time. Stopped for a DQ sandwich on the way home.
Coffee and this (Free Concert this Friday 9/18/14 on MLK 100 block downtown!)...and Spoon Tomorrow! Both via the Majestic.
Double-music-week-goto!

Didn't know they were still around. Good show?
We had DQ this weekend, and that shiz is expensive in Texas. They have a Texas-specific marketing scheme and everything down here. Even the cheapest meal is about $8 and there's no 5 Buck Lunch that most places offer. I have kind of dropped DQ from the fast food rotation unless I'm back home.
If Captain Morgan is in the house then...
But if the only thing in the house is a bottle of F***ing Merlot...
"Ooh woo, I'm a Rebel just for kicks, nowI been feeling it since 1966, now..."
This is what I'm listening to now...Rev can play a steel guitar!!

They do...saw them open for Kid Rock several years ago and have been a fan since.
Here's what I'm rolling with now...

Sipping on a chocolate shake listening to Elle King.
A little Van Winkle (whenever I have it in the house) or Weller 12 and some Allan Jackson or Toby Keith. I know, I'm old...![]()
I'd like to have Van Winkle in the house once in my life.
Had Goose Island The Muddy. It was ok.
Hey, buttholes. Here's some Arliss Nancy for you. And I had Alaskan Summer.
I had some whiskey that I've had before and I'm listening to a song I've posted before. Whatever.
Me too. Hopefully they come through here again this year.
Best drink and a tune for me has been Comfortably Numb (live), a good Islay while hitting golf balls into the preserve behind my home at night.
I hate golf but that sure is fun!
Celebrated my 31st birthday on Tuesday. On Thursday we drove to Middleton to pick up my present my wife found on craigslist. She found a record player with some random albums. Tonight we're sitting in our "Analog Room" (the room we have dedicated to relaxing, books, board games, and now listening to albums) and i put on the next unknown album. To my pleasant surprise, it was City and Colours.
Drinking Good City Brewing Ales (slightly too hoppy for a pilsner) and the Potosi #sunprairiestrong benefit beer (which is surprisingly good).
