Best TV series you're not watching

'Survivor's Remorse' on Starz. Pro basketball player and his family, set in Atlanta. Sorta like a cross between 'Entourage' and 'Ballers' only good.

BTW, 'Wrecked' on TBS was damn funny, pick it up from On Demand.

I've never understood Game Of Thrones' appeal....I guess I am just not into the whole fantasy genre. I am sure it is blasphemous to some but I just don't get it.
Couldn't get into Breaking Bad either, but I probably didn't give it enough time. I love Better Call Saul, so one day when I have time, I'll try again.
Wife loved Lost, I couldn't stand it.

Semi OT, we are slowly binging on Suits right now. Great show, well written and acted. Some romance but no over the top smut (yet, we are only into season 2). I love that the characters will bend the law and rules at times but there are lines they won't cross....especially Harvey. Plus Donna, the redhead assistant....well she's not hard on the eyes.

For the past three weeks I have been watching 'Narcos'. I finished watching season one this past Thursday or Friday night. I recommend it. I will not give any spoilers.

How was I not aware of this show when it aired in September? Maybe because I resisted Netflix for so long.

Now that you have Netflix, you'll really like 'Longmire'

I started watching Hell on Wheels and never finished even though I liked it quite a lot.

Just finished Narcos which is a Netflix original.

Very good - looking forward to the next season!

I've been a Suits guy since the beginning, always enjoy it.

And for my TV series you're not watching:

    Bloodline

I just about gave up on 'Suits' but this season has seen a marked improvement.

'Bloodline' is terrific - but I'd watch Kyle Chandler change oil in his car. Still have hope for a 'Friday Night Lights' movie.

Watched 'Stranger Things' and it was better than I expected, not quite as good as some will tell you. I watched 'Jessica Jones' and it was pretty fair.

I have Netflix, even watched about half dozen episodes. Not bad, but nothing special IMO. I never finished an episode and just had to watch the next one right away, which is how I know when a show is really good. I've been watching Weeds and Californication lately.

I don't subscribe to HBO so I guess I have been immune to Game of Thrones.

As great as season 1 was, I think I'm done with it.

A completely faked show. It was a lot of fun when Barry Weiss was on but once he left you're left with Brandi's boobs.

I watch American Pickers. Another show that's nowhere near reality per a couple of real pickers I've talked to. I did go into Antique Archeology down in Nashville. That whole marathon motors building is pretty cool with lots of little shops and restaurants. You could spend a day there. Mike and Franks place? A lot smaller than I imagined, very little inside is actually for sale other than AP swag of all types. What stuff is for sale is very high priced.

Still watch and enjoy Deadliest catch. I've watched it since it was the show America's most deadly occupations. It hasn't been the same since Phil Harris died.

    I watch Survivor.

I've pretty much given up on TV series.

How much of it have you watched? I had a friend that said the exact same thing... he wasn't into "dragons and wizards and fantasy stuff". I challenged him to watch the first season and now he's obsessed. It's the kind of show where you really have to watch a whole season to start to "get it". There are simply too many characters to keep track of for it to make sense after only a few episodes.

All you need is an HBO Now subscription for 3 months a year.

'Casual' and 'Difficult People' on Hulu, 'You're the Worst' on FXX.

Sort of the opposite for me-I've played too many RPGs for too many years, and it's just too easy to figure out (depending on how twisted your GM is). That, and I'd watch a brutal battle scene and laugh, thinking, "HA! That didn't work, did it buddy! Roll Damage at +3!"

It had a good run for a while, but they can't come up with anything new to hold attention.

I am currently going on episode 6, season 1 of 'Stranger Things'. Damn! It is riveting.

I never knew cleidocranial dysplasia was a thing.

I wonder how much in royalties The Clash made from this show.

I still can't get over them bringing back 'MacGyver' though. That is sacrilegious! Only Richard Dean Anderson can play MacGyver. I am still pissed off!
