Any major dude with half a heart surely will tell you my friend
Any minor world that breaks apart falls together again

Any major dude will tell you.

Adele. We get it, you've have a lot of bad relationships (great voice though)
Bob Dylan. Again, great artist but I just can't get into his music.
Red Hot Chili Peppers. Under The Bridge was great but the rest I just can't do.
I agree with you on Dave Matthews and most of this list. Dave has some songs I like but I just don't think I've done enough drugs to understand his following.
My wife and I went to a Dave concert a couple years ago and I didn't recognize a single song. I know a decent amount of his music and I have heard great things about his concerts, but it was probably one of the worst I had ever been to.

As for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, they are my favorite band so don't understand not liking them... If you like Under the Bridge, you would probably also like Soul to Squeeze. I think it is as good as anything they have done.
I don't have a profile because I think profiling is wrong.

Went to Nissan Pavilion in fairfax to sit through a 3/11 show. Slightly Stoopid opened, that's why we went. Stoopid was good, 3/11 on the other hand, sucked.

I like a lot of 311's music, but I heard they're usually too stoned to play well live. Nick Hexum forgets a lot of his lyrics, and makes up different stuff as he goes.

    Grateful Dead
John Mellencamp (yeah, blasphemy as I live in Indiana)
    My Morning Jacket
    Maroon 5

Most country music and most rap and hip hop ****.
And after looking at my son's Rolling Stone magazine this week, Ed Shereen. I don't get this guy at all. IMO he sucks.

It varies by individual. Some are more melodic than others. If metal dudes growling and screaming counts as music, rap counts as music.

But you're welcome to believe whatever you like.

Wouldn't matter to me if he was a brunette, bleach blonde or had an Afro, IMO he's severely overrated and booooooring. This coming from a guy whose girlfriend is a redhead.

She's a bit shy, and won't let me. In fact, she does NOT have any social media account. No Twitter, no Facebook, nothing--smart I think. And she doesn't do forums either (except once when she wanted to discuss something here regarding a teaching application she was not in favor of and wanted to voice why--she's a teacher).

She is definitely smarter than me. And she has good taste.

Okay, special request, but unfortunately she's NOT my girlfriend, but in keeping in line with this thread, she IS a well known musician (at least in The Netherlands) and someone there might not care for her singing. Simone Simons is this Dutch treat.
