    'Twin Peaks'

I have no idea what the hell is going on so here's the band that played at the end of the first episode.

The establishing shot of Manhattan was incredible.

It really was. I liked the first two episodes a lot. We stream so the next two are also available, but we probably won't get to the next two until after Memorial Day. I'm not going to say much else yet, but it was particularly cool to see The Log Lady given how early in production Catherine Coulson passed. Didn't feel sad, just touching that she obviously wanted to do it.
    Eff LBD!

I really need to go back and watch the old show--I forgot a lot of it, which is making this more confusing than necessary.

We went through it over the winter (my wife had never seen it and I had missed a few of the second season episodes). It is definitely worth it - as well as watching Fire Walk With Me as it definitely has an impact on the third season.

Did you watch the original, along with Fire Walk with Me? I can't imagine watching this season without that background. I think this season has been amazing but it isn't for everyone.

Yeah, I watched all of it but that was years ago and I didn't take notes.

Definitely would have been worth a refresher 25 years later. We watched it this winter (I'd never seen some of the episodes and my wife hadn't seen any). Not a show to watch too casually which for those who like it is a significant part of the enjoyment. It has exceeded all of my expectations thus far.

I had a friend who actually kept a notebook the first time he watched it. We pretty much text or call after each show to see where we think the different storylines are heading. It is a blast, but again, not for everyone.

Edit to add - I just realized I wrote basically the same thing about watching it again earlier in the thread. Welcome to my wife's world.

I enjoyed a mighty fine Cherry pie at the Mar-T Cafe back in the early 90s. BTW, it was a real cafe in North Bend, Washington.

Nice. It still exists and serves cherry pie.
