I remember seeing a taxi at Cubi Point in the PI get rolled over by an H-53 helo hovering to land.

    Planes are not good neighbors!
I was volunteering at an airshow about 20 years ago, and on arrival day, they were setting up the displays and "amenities." A contractor truck showed up and set up a line of chemical toilets. Before long, here come two F-15s. They land and taxi in. The lead F-15 is a little late to respond to the plane handlers' directions into his parking spot. Throttles up a bit and turns as tight as he can. Well, those chemical toilets hadn't been anchored down yet. Blew 'em right over.

I enlisted at 17 in Ocean springs Mississippi. Before my 18th birthday I was walking the streets of olongapo. A major case of culture shock. I was not in Kansas anymore. After Olongapo, Hong Kong and Singapore were pretty tame.

XR1000, I spent time at Clark AB. I still can not wipe that smile off my face after that adventure!

I was overwhelmed. I had lead a sheltered life.

In retrospect I had a eye opening experience. In reality I was scared.
