I like it. It maintains the team identity and ABC identity but allows the cars to be differentiable.

The one with more red looks like the Patrick Firestone car from 95.

Its from the Viceroy cigarette logo, think the Andretti helmet stripe as it owns its origins to Viceroy, Marios sponsor at the time.

The stripe on the Viceroy cars that Mario adopted for his helmet and never removed, which was then used by his offspring on their helmets, and then appeared on Michael's Indycars the past few seasons.

I could not agree any more. Even if the liveries turn out to be kind of weak, thank you and congrats to Foyt's team for finally doing this with their cars. Can't wait to see the actual cars.
Be a better driver, move right except to pass.

I in general like team cars looking a like, as long you have some easy reference between the two. Newman/Hass had colored vs white roll hops during the Andretti years, and I think Penske did the same. Sadly Foyt did not have that and it was indeed confusing.

That chrome edging is a nice touch.

I like the chrome edge on the wheel ramp, but why continue it along a nicely-rounded side pod? It takes a smooth, flowing design and puts a hard line right through the middle. I don't get it.

Very dissapointed with the NTT Data car. Realy hoped that they will continiue with the amazing white/chrome blue livery from second half of last season.

Same, I am a little disappointed by that. But it still looks pretty good, I do wish they continued the beautiful car from the second half of last season as well.

wondering if we are going to enter another year with no primary sponsorship for the #9/Dixon. I was surprised that Ganassi didn't get more then an Indy only primary for Dixon in 2017. Even if it is several companies splitting the primary (similar to what Penske does for the 2 and 22).

This is huge news for me. This was the one team where I needed to look at car numbers (can't really tell helmets apart at speed).
Some fans claim one series or another runs "real race cars." What's everybody else running, fake race cars?

HAHA! i would laugh really hard if it did.... complete long shot but it would be cool to see Red Bull on the side of the 9 car as part of the buyout $$

IHMO, that's still a plain as hell livery, it's just a bright yellow.

It was Parnelli Jones' primary sponsor for many years and became Mario's trademark helmet design, which was then adopted by Michael. Marco changed it to blue but maintained the stripe design on many of his helmets.

Didn't Michael add American flags to the bottom of the helmet to differentiate his from Mario's?
