    Grilled romaine lettuce

Anybody tried it? We have some extra I might do next week.

Looks like something we'd not be mad at.

A little olive oil and some parmesan cheese is all I put on mine while grilling it.

Is romaine no longer on the recall list, or do you grow your own?

The fun couple made this for us last week.
    I did not like it.
Some of the Romaine was burnt.
    Their dressing was watery.
And four heads for four people?

    Of course.
Have you ever drawn a conclusion about something more significant than an innocuous forum post?

We tried it and were not impressed. We used Bleu Cheese dressing and bacon bits.
I think I would have preferred a squeeze of lemon juice, salt, and pepper. I'll try again
sometime as it seems like something I should like...just not with that dressing.

Who...me? I'm a hell of a good cook. I just wasn't happy with this one.

    What prompted that question?

Maybe lemon pepper or steak seasoning on top of the olive oil would work. It sure does on asparagus.

I would, but I have a handicap placard and I don't want to be judged too harshly for stepping outside my line.
