Hmm. Wonder if they will use dedicated cameras or just a feed from the hundreds (OK, maybe it just feels like hundreds) of cameras COTA has installed for race control feeds.

    Nah.
In the race control room at COTA (where the race director, some stewards and others sit) there is an entire wall of video screens, ~30 of varying sizes. There are cameras all around the track that feed video to that wall o' screens. The cameras can be manipulated to some extent.
I'm wondering if the streaming broadcast will use those cameras.

See the gooseneck shaped pole just behind the catch fence roughly in the middle of this photo (look directly in front of the nose of the car)? There's about 50 of these located around the circuit.

Haven’t they already run some testing laps?

How do their times compare with F1?

yes, but comparing them to F1 times would be apples and kumquats.
Yeah, they're slower (duh?)...so what... that's not relevant to whether they will be able to race as well or better than F1.

Yes and they were some 10 seconds slower per lap.

If you have tickets for the COTA race, you get free admission to the testing on Feb 12. If you just want to go to the test, you can buy tickets for $20 (available at the box office, too). Kids 12 and under are free. Parking is free. Paddock access is included. The observation tower is an extra $15.
