Being during the day on a Sunday likely helps TV ratings.

I didn't realize that this was the 3rd year it had been ran on Sunday. 2017 was postponed from Saturday night due to rain, and 2018 & 2019 was actually scheduled to run on Sunday afternoon.

Oddly enough it was a terrible show too. Maybe lots of race fans were dealing with bad weather and stayed at home on on the couch compared to the last couple years. I don't know.

One must remember that NASCAR does not control the remote of the TV.

But they completely control the product on the track.

As long as they don't control the horizontal and vertical.
