those are blue blockers.
her car's got a lot of blue in it.
get it?
Patrick, who started the day sixth and finished sixth, could not be reached for comment.
I love that!
Dear Broken Record,
This has been covered already here ---> http://www.trackforum.com/forums/sho...=110160&page=2 in Post #43. However, we all know some posters only read the garbage they personally type and don't read anything else.
Give it a rest already...
Danica Patrick is the new Scott Sharp. I never saw any Scott Sharp bikini pictures...oh, he meant blocking. Yeah yeah, I understand now.![]()
This coming from Dixon who was penalized at Indy a few years ago for blocking, IIRC? Dixon has been a guy who uses all the track.
You didn't? Dude, they were great!Originally Posted by Walldozer

So you're telling me that one driver was unhappy with how another acted while they were racing each other, and let the reporters know after the fact?
I know! I couldn't believe Edwards moved Bowyer aside like that! Seriously!
Oh, you were talking about the OTHER totally normal griping between drivers after a race? My bad.
This is just the beginning. This is what I am talking about. It's the "TUNNEL" vision that everyone is experiencing. This article is just a part of what I am telling you whats to come, and it's NOT gonna be easier. If you just stopped and said to yourself " you know Chapp is right" she needs a leash and hopefully she will not create anymore fodder for the tabloids, because this could be detrimental to the series in a year or so.Originally Posted by cleanupcrew
Thats all I am saying here. I don't have anything to gain dissin her. Besides this is the first thread I have started on her and I apologise because I guess it was posted already but I am at work and I don't have all the time to go page hopping.
What makes my opinion on her actions different from Rick Mears?
Thats all I am trying to get across. I can't afford to pull anything, I am already disabled![]()

If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough.

More negativity:
linkMarco Andretti - #26 Blockbuster Honda/Dallara/Firestone– Finished Third
“It was good clean racing. It had to be good for the fans. It was good fun out there. I am very proud of the Blockbuster boys,” said Andretti.
“We were towards the front all day and Hideki (Mutoh) is on it this year for sure.
(On traffic) “It is tough, the track was pretty good. It was kind of what we set up for. We matched the setup with the conditions and how we thought the race would play out. It was completely different from last year. That made it pretty fun.
(On the restart) “I knew I could trust my teammate. Danica (Patrick) was looking out for me, and she could have made it very tough for me and put me below the line. When you get a good run, you got go with it, and I had a good run.”
I think it's kind of an encouraging sign that drivers aren't afraid to crank on Danica like they would any other driver. They thought she blocked and said so. I don't see that as really anti-Danica. I agree that Dixon can make himself wide at times as well, as do all the other drivers. The league's enforcement of the alleged anti-blocking rule is a joke. You only get about 12 warnings before they really get angry with you.

And more negative press:
linkPatrick acknowledges the cadre of critics -- even from friends and teammates, but remains unfazed.
The former go-kart racer is the same as she ever was.
Real.
Intense.
Wide open in terms of career possibilities, both on and off the track.
"I think some fans probably appreciate 'real' in this world of sponsors and everything else," Patrick said. "It forces some people to be a little cookie-cutter and a little bit programmed. I try to stay away from that as much as I can."

Nice attempt at stirring a tempest in a teapot. Ain't 'gonna fly here or anywhere else for that matter.

Thats correct Boomer. You nailed it to the cross. Plus she is not the average driver. This girl is more popular than anyone on the track. She is the series. So everything she does is magnified 10 times the norm. She is paparazzee material now.Originally Posted by boomer
Well, I know a photographer that was out at Indy for the month of May and he has this message on his website:
"All photographs of Danica Patrick have
been removed from this website.
Ms. Patrick is not fan friendly as one would hope.
If her attitude should improve in the future
there is a possibility her photographs will
be placed back on this website.
The photos of Danica Patrick's accident at
the Indy 500 2008 have now been posted
in the Indy 500 2008 section. It is the
opinion of this photographer these
photos must be seen."
I have nothing personal against Danica, but she does seem to come across as what we call a "spoiled brat", prone to having "hissy fits". Not a good "role model" in my way of thinking.
I say way to take a "stand" there shutter bug...and way to shoot yourself in the foot at the same time. Chances are DP pictures out-sell other drivers by significant margins. If you want to make money in that sort of business, you have to sell what sells, and selling pictures of guys like Marty Roth won't put food on the table.Originally Posted by Littleman

The only thing more entertainingly pathetic than a another Danica bashing thread is some peoples need to cry about it…. Beep…. Beep… Beep….. Excuse me my popcorns done.....
I hate it when people compare Senna with god . . . I mean he is okay, but come on he isn't Senna. . .
So Danica will eventually be responsible for the Robot Holocaust that will occur in ten years which will pit the survivors of man against these soulless, brutal machines; a battle in which man will invariably lose, so in order to prevent it we must shun Danica in her racing career?
Hell, it's as level headed as some of the other stuff I read on here about her
