Wanna know what's wrong with NASCAR? They've gone from Junior Johnson to Jimmie Johnson.

Wanna know what's wrong with IndyCar? It's gone from dirt ovals to street races.

Stremme Edges Busch to Finally Win the Legendary Winchester 400

David Stremme has been attending the legendary Winchester 400 for most of his life, and has developed a deep love affair with the race and close friendship with Winchester Speedway owner, Charlie Shaw. This is his 10th Winchester 400 and finally he took the checkered flag as the winner holding off Kyle Busch for the win. This is Busch's fourth attempt to win The Winchester 400 at the historic high banks and the first one he has finished. Veteran CRA Super Series driver Scott Hantz finished third, Donnie Wilson fourth and Aaron Pierce finished fifth.

"I am tired!" Stremme exclaimed in Victory Lane. "I love this race, I feel like I have finished my short track portion of my career, and moved on to a different place, and this was unfinished business. I really want to support local short tracks, and this place and Charlie (Winchester Speedway owner) are special to me. Charlie has helped me a lot in my career and I really appreciate it."

A big congratulations goes out to Frank Cozze, from everyone at Tobias Racing, for a long over-due Super DIRT Week Championship. After having the win taken away from him in 1989, finishing 2nd in '78, 3rd in '80, 3rd in '92, and 3rd in '03; Frank Cozze can now be included on the prestigious list of Syracuse winners. Great job Frank!
"In memory of #17 Ronnie & Dick "Toby" Tobias."
