    Talking "Proper" Football...an American perspective

    This is quite fun - an American goes to his first football match, and it's to my beloved Birmingham City...

    Shame he didn't have a balti pie and a bovril, to make the day complete.

    I've never been to a match in Europe, but last year I went to Chicago and saw Celtic FC play the MLS team up there. I think every Scot living in America was that game (well all the ones that aren't Rangers fans). I had a similar experience as the writer. This was a good find.
    Still looking for Carmen San Diego....

    Saw Celtic vs DC in an international friendly a few years back, more Bhoys fans showing Irish allegiance than Scots (not surprisingly).

    I'd love to visit Paradise for an Old Firm match someday.
