    Where's Hylton??

what happened to the run at the 500 James Hylton was supposed to be taking?

I was looking forward to rooting for the "old guy"

The team spent all day Saturday trying to get the car through tech and to run. They were seen pushing the car up and down pit road several times. They were unable to turn a lap during practice. NASCAR will not allow a car that has not practiced to make a qualifying attempt. Therefore, the car was withdrawn. Unfortunately, James will have to wait until next year to try again.
Officer Mitchell, I thought you said you didn't want to have to come back here this evening.

You'd almost think that they'd make sure the thing starts before they loaded the transporter wouldn't you?

More than one race car has run fine in the shop and gone haywire once it's at the track.

Every car I've ever taken to the track (and that's hundreds BTW) has, at least, been able to start and run. What a joke. To be honest, an absolute no hoper anyway. Nice human interest story though.

There have been plenty of cars that have failed to start upon the command at Indy.

    Nothing is certain in racing.
