The team spent all day Saturday trying to get the car through tech and to run. They were seen pushing the car up and down pit road several times. They were unable to turn a lap during practice. NASCAR will not allow a car that has not practiced to make a qualifying attempt. Therefore, the car was withdrawn. Unfortunately, James will have to wait until next year to try again.
