are you kidding me?! I mean I'm sure they might have fans, and I'll refrain from saying what I think of them, but seriously, are they related to someone in the IRL this is like the 4th or 5th time they've played at a race and 2nd or 3rd at Indy. Are they really popular in Indianapolis that I'm unaware of!?

I'm going to carb day because its carb day, but I wont be running to the infield to catch the start of the concert, if I even make it there at all. Kid rock, and STP were much better "party" choices, as well as their popularity. Sort of a dissapointment.
3doors down is alright. Theyre no STP but hey.
Three doors down are good. I know they were there in 2005. How many times have they been there?
Staind was my favorite but this was race day

Go Dario, Dixon and Vitor!!! .42 JPM.
Do you guys realize that they still have songs in the charts? They are the most current band the speedway has had and you are bitchin about them.
I think this is a great choice:
Current, popular, and big fans of racing
Way to go IMS!
Round and round we go, where it stops......
They were very good in 05. They played "Superman" during driver intros, a little over the top and showy but they sounded pretty good doing it.
You mean they've had a hit this decade?Originally Posted by Mr. Bean

That was great job finding the info! They will never make everyone happy but it is a good pick.![]()

I know they performed Superman during driver introductions but I do not remember them playing on Carb Day but I could be wrong. I like them so I am happy.
I was hoping for Hannah Montana
On the 3 doors down website it says the concert starts at 12:00. Is that correct? I remember the concerts starting way after that - after practice and the pit stop competition. Anybody know anything?
In the past, it started after the Pit Stop competition.
I like it. They played at Homestead last March too on race afternoon.
Damn, I shoulda posted this in the any rumors in the Carb Day concert thread. Because I was thinking... You know, what about 3 Doors Down? Yes, they played Homestead and the Intro at Indy, but these guys do have current chart songs, and are fans of racing (made a music video with Earnhardt Jr and Stewart). I wouldn't call myself a HUGE fan of 3 Doors Down, but do like them more than Nickelback. But since they moved Carb Day to Friday, we haven't hungout around the Speedway too long after Pit Stop Competition so we can get a good spot in the infield out at the Fairgrounds.![]()
WHO...never heard of em.
