You're draining your backyard? I've done a couple, and I just used that 4" corrugated stuff. And unless you're using one to drain your foundation, they don't really need to be all that deep, just enough to get them below the surface and slope them properly.

When putting in that perforated pipe, be sure to put the holes pointed down.
