I think the best thing for CART would be for the price to go so low, have the remaining teams buy out the shares for close to nothing and become a private company again.

Some goofball reporter lifted a quote from John from one of his posts to a forum (Seventh Grade, I think) and used it in a story. That's a no-no. Although Defender and I aren't always aiming at the same exact target, we are usually shooting in the same general direction. Our motives for wishing CART's demise are different, but our end goal is the same.
I'm proud to have fought alongside Defender in the internet-forum, open wheel trenches for many a year. He is a compatriot, and I repect him for that.

My first Indy 500 was 1973, haven't missed one since 1981. To date I have attended 35 Indy 500's, and probably 100 or so other IndyCar races (CART & IRL).
