Dont know where, when or how I got it, but I got it. This is the cover of a small 6 page brochure I own from IMS. Inside is an article telling about the history of the track and the two middle pages show all the winners of the race

This is the back cover of the same brochure.
Do people still send mail to IMS?

Looks like my moms handwriting in lower right corner BTW. Looks like she was planning a trip trying to figure how much it would cost

That is very definately one SWEET ride. I would give my left butt cheek to see 33 of these beauties take the green on a bright sunny day in May. I was born just a bit too late! (1963).

I hate to be a snot here, but what I was refering to in the picture of the "Ken Paul" is that the car isn't really the real winner. It is made up of spare parts from other cars and presented as the original Ken Paul Spl.
It has been pretty well documented as a "representative creation".

But it still is a purty ride!

Oval, your birth year was my first year at Indy.

Ken-Paul Special trivia: There was no company or sponsor by the name of Ken-Paul. The Ken and Paul were the first names of the two co-owners.

Ovalmeister, that's one of my fondest memories as a teenager in the 50s before I went into the USAF and the early 60s after I returned. I definitely count it as one of the blessings of my longevity, and I'm sure other OFs on here agree with me.

    Hi flatlander,
I can't give up both butt cheeks, the wife owns the right cheek! She almost has the left side paid off as well.

You are definately lucky to have witnessed the best era at Indy. (my humble opinion obviously).

Of course you mean the BCV Eagle 81 as modified by John Buttera and Ronnie Capps. Who knows the third partner's name?
