Montoya is a NASCAR driver now

I don't care where you spent the bulk of your career if you can keep the car straight when a tire goes down like that and hustle it to the pits then you are a stock car driver in my book! He saved his chase chances right there. I thought he was surely going to spin three times before he got to the backstretch.

Juan, you are a pleasure to watch wheel a car and I think the NASCAR fans should feel lucky to get to see you do it.

Never had a doubt that he would be successful in NASCAR. I expect JPM to have several victories before his NASCAR career is done.
After years of fighting and a split, guess what, we are all IndyCar

October will always be a sad racing month for me. RIP Greg and Dan. You both were great and we miss you.

Kudos to those who last year could see it was a great talent with sub-par equipment on a sub-par team learning to drive these cars.

I think this summer might be Juan's most satisfying time in his racing career.

Anyone wanting to claim "midpacker at best, chase...yeah right", I think were just blinded by their dissatisfaction with open wheel and how far it has sunk.

Personally, my favorites for the Championship right now would be Stewart, Johnson, then maybe a tossup between Edwards and Juan.

What I liked that he once said, that in NASCAR you pal around and talk to the other drivers and teams. He said that in F1, nobody hangs out with another driver, especially from another team.

Makes me feel all warm and gushy inside when he does well...which is often this year. Can I gloat for calling windtunnel and telling Dave JPM would bring that team out of the cellar? Oh, wait...I think I just did. Sorry.
    Oh miss Money Penny

    That was impressive

As was Kyle getting a handle on his car when he got sideways.

The cool thing about Juan Pablo is he has become one of da' guys. If we dug up an old thread from when he came over, there were a lot of people saying yeah.....Damn smart move! I thought so then, and I think so now.
My major malfunction is...I want the people I love and respect to live forever...The problem is...Life don't work that way...
