Thanks for sharing this link. Made my day.

I recently lost my 16 year old Pomeranian named PUPPERS. Thanks for the link. There is a healing quality about animals that you can not put in a bottle
You can't make a race car out of a Pig, But you can sure make a damn fast Pig.

XR: True Dat', and there is a great shelter two miles from my house in Indy. Plus, Mary Hulman George has the Greyhound rescue project at the track.....I'm gettin' involved! Indiana winters can get VERY long if you don't have enough to do!

Jack all winters are long and cold. If it was within my powers we would spend winter in Key West eating Conch chowder and Key Lime pie

XR: Sounds great but my Mom who is 81, wants me to hang with her for a bit, and she gets to win this argument. But I'll tell ya' what...Mobile, Al. has the oldest Mardi Gras in the U.S. and as I understand it, a damn fine one at that. I might slide down the 65 and check it out in 2010...Good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise!

Makes me sad to see so many dogs without homes, and wish I could help more than I do now.

At least its good to see stories like this

Dogs and cats combined: 3 from the shelter, 1 from a barn (sole survivor of the litter) 2 strays, love 'em all.
PS: our house isn't as scary as it sounds, litter boxes cleaned daily and dogs bathed regularly, I hate stinky houses.

My 2 cats were strays and our last dog (RIP...lived to the age of 17) was a "rescue dog"
They want love and a family to love them. And they have been the best family members.
And yes, they really are MEMBERS of our family
I'm a "mommy" because of my girls (cats)...and I wouldn't trade them in for anything in the world
