    Curious...

    Look back at the video and notice the incredable positive dihedrial on the wings after take off...
    looks like she was fully loaded for this flight.... but that COULDN'T be...

    Those wings must have tilted upward 10 or 20 feet. They looked like the wings on a sailplane. That will take some getting used to by passengers when they look out a window and see the wingtip now bent up above their heads.

    Haven't you ever seen a B-52 take off?

    On the ground, the BUFF has retractable outrigger wheels to keep the wingtips from scraping. At takeoff, the wingtips flex upward through an arc of about 16 feet-the wings start flying quite a while before they decide to take the fuselage along. The airplane roars down the runway, looking rather like the horns on a Texas longhorn, with the wings curved up and flying and the fuselage rolling along on the mains for a thousand feet or so, until the airplane groans and drags the fuselage into the air.

    It's also a Boeing.

    It's been more than a decade between the 777 and 787, so don't hold your breath waiting to find out.

    Note the T-33 chase planes. 60 years on and still workin' for a livin'.
