BRETT FAVRE!
I like every team on the NFC side of the playoff bracket right now...but I'd like a team of Brett Favres a whole lot more.

I think Jack is upset that he didn't get to start the threads last Sunday, so he's working a little in advance this week.Originally Posted by Gomer Simpson

Would it be presumptuous of me to start a Colts/Chargers thread now?Originally Posted by Ren Butler

Yes. But not as inflammatory as starting a Ravens/Jets thread...Originally Posted by Gomer Simpson

Cowboys run the kick back for a TD! On-side kick. Cowboys recover and run it in! Cowboys 14-Vikes 0 after only 40 seconds!
sounds like the Ravens/Pats game last week.Originally Posted by Cant_hit_apex

Actually, I started both threads because of the NFL Networks stuff....NEVER MIND!
Doesn't Bozo have great hair?
I wish we didn't have to wait until 4:30 for football. Damn NFL!

Actually a double-header of anti-Minnesota love for me today. Cowboys at noon, Hoosiers-Gophers a little later.
Was actually supposed to fly back from West Palm to Dallas this AM at 8AM, but the flight was delayed til a 12:30 departure. Obviously, that wouldn't work. At FLL now waiting on a flight that will get us back at noon - better not be a delay.
Dallas wins if:
1) defense continues its strong play
2) running game continues at a 6 YPP clip
That happens, and Romo can simply play "marginal", and we still win.
I don't expect Farve to be easily distracted.
The dome atmosphere is an advantage for us comparitively. I would give us little chance in Green Bay, Chicago, NY, or Philly this time of year. If Minnesota really wanted to dominate, they would move this game to the Gophers new stadium - we would lose 48-5.

It will be loud. The Cowboys have been practicing all week with very loud "cheering" being blasted at them from the field speakers. The players say that their ears hare been ringing for hours after practice. Vikes have a pretty loud stadium when the opposing team is trying to call plays.Originally Posted by mattndallas

A few bad plays and Tony Romo's confidence will be back to circa 2007 levels. Favre never saw an interception he didn't like and Adrian Peterson may destroy his career if he has a few more crucial fumbles.
Doesn't matter who wins this game, the Saints are headed to Miami IMHO.

Should've been a roughing the passer penalty on Edwards.
Well there is the Romo turnover. Now we should see a Favre pick or Peterson fumble.
And there is fumble #2.....Originally Posted by Danny Noonan

I'm starting to feel purple.
That run-back throw-back really worked well.
The Cowboys are toast if Adams can't come back.
Really disappointing effort by the Vikings to end the half. You have 2:00, timeouts and Brett Favre. Make something happen!
Instead the come out and run, run, run.![]()
Last week the Cowboys were supposedly invincible.
Center Grove Trojans
2008 5A Football State Champs
2011 Track State Champs
First it was the Vikings. Then the Saints. Then the Eagles. Then the Cowboys. Next it will be the Chargers and/or the Saints again.
Meanwhile the Colts just keep winning.
Yep. All these remaining teams are good (except the Jets IMHO although they might beat San Diego b/c they are a good matchup), but the Colts still have not lost a game they have tried to win this season.Originally Posted by Truth Detector
