    As for other games:

Tottenham lost to QPR., which means that Spurs are offically in fitth behind Newcastle, though they have a game in hand still. QPR three points over relegation.

Real Madrid beat Barcelona in what looked to have been a splendid encounter between the two storied sides with Ronaldo grabbing the winning goal.

Manchester United drew today! That leaves the Premier League wide open with the Manchester derby coming up. If City were to win that, they would lead the league on goal difference! Wow!

Not to mention 8 goals in one game. They were up 4-2 and ended up in a 4-4 draw. I'm sorry I missed it.

Drama at the Camp! Barca scored late in the first half, Chelsea capt. John Terry was red-carded, Barca scored again, but then Chelsea scored at the death of the first! At this point Chelsea would proceed on away goals! Crazy!

Torres scores in the 90th minute to tie the game and ultimately send Chelsea through to the finals in Munich! What an absolutely breathtaking game! I'm no fan of Chelsea, but damn that was a brilliant defensive performance!

Now for Real Madrid v Bayern Munich tomorrow. My God, what a tournament this year is turning out to be!

Congrats to Chelsea, but who's gonna play defense in the final? Terry is suspended because of the red card, and because of yellow card accumulation, they will also be without Meireles, Ivanovic, and Ramires, plus Gary Cahill left the game with an injury. Will he be back?

I noticed that as well, and Bayern are under similar trouble with a few of their players just one booking from a suspension in the final. Ah well, I'm pulling heavily for the Bavarians tomorrow.

    BRAVO BAYERN BRAVO!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I'm late, but I am extremely excited after that! WOO! Neuer...awesome man, awesome.

    Onto Munich, and Chelsea beware!

Though, Chelsea are not to be underestimated!

I am not looking forward to the last few games for Arsenal. The Gunners tied against Stoke, while Spurs and Chelsea had big wins (love Torres though, so kudos to his hat trick), AND they have a game in hand over Arsenal. They HAVE to win their last two game. Period.

    GO VAN PERSIE!

The Big One tomorrow, folks! Manchester Darby, big enough that it's on the Mothership (ESPN), not the Deuce. Pre-match at 2:30 EDT.

Manchester United should have had it all wrapped up,but losing to Wigan of all people and then tying Everton sure made this a more interesting day!

Hard to beat an Old Firm Derby!
Great results for the Bhoys as well, but (and I NEVER thought I'd say this) but I feel sorry for the Rangers players given the situation the team has found itself in. I would attempt to feel some sympathy for their fans, but I have a feeling if it was Celtic about to go tits up those same fans would be dancing in the street, waving their Union Jack's and singing "God Save The Queen".

Give Wigan credit. They'd be a scary team for anyone to face given their current form.

Both Tevez and Aguero starting for City. Surprised to see Valencia on the bench for United. Park, Smalling and Jones starting for UNited and they haven't played that much lately.

I really hope a sizable US audience watched that. I don't know about anyone else, but that was a damn fine example of a great soccer game. Man City deservedly won it, and it sets up an interesting end to the season.

I question Alex Ferguson's team picking yesterday, but then again, who am I to question? The man has 12 League titles, but I am thinking he won't be adding any this year.

Hey Ensign, are your Birmingham boys going back up? I find it interesting that in the playoff are all three teams relegated from last year, Birmingham, West Ham, and Blackpool.

It's partly due to all of us getting screwed by refereeing decisions last year - the BBC did some analysis and found Wolves and Wigan should have gone down, and they've been gash this season. West Ham would have been marginal with Blackburn, who managed a phenomenal achievement at Spurs - not a single shot all match. No team has managed that in a decade.

It's pretty random in the play-offs, a few years back we lost after an offside goal against us was given, the year before that due to a wrong sending-off. Whereas in 2002 we went up thanks to an injury-time winner and a penalty shoot-out win in the final. Little things.

Think West Ham will do it though. We've got a tiny squad that's played at least 10 more games than the others in the play-offs. And almost all of our decent players have been sold to cover Premier League debts. Note Portsmouth basically did the opposite.

It looks like the Man City-Man Utd matchup was a fairly big hit on television, and it looks like the two UCL semis drew fairly nice ratings as well.

Liverpool lost at home yesterday (anticipating the FA Cup at this point, for which I do not blame them at this stage) while Everton drew with Stoke, which proves again why I rate Stoke always makes me nervous when they face the Gunners.

Today, Chelsea will play Newcastle while Tottenham also has a game against Bolton (and I believe Muamba will be attending in the stands, god bless him). These could be big results for Arsenal when it comes to that 3rd spot on the table.

Also, while the Champions League finals have pretty much gotten all the attention, the Europa League looks to be set for an interesting finish. Also, unlike the UCL, there are two Spanish teams in the Europa final. Athletic Bilbao-Atletico Madrid should be an interesting encounter.

Roy Hodgson has won as many games at Anfield as Kenny Dalglish this year.
