"Each day well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well therefore to this one day for it, and it alone, is life"
~ Sanskrit poem attributed to Kalidasa, "Salutation to the Dawn"
Brian's Wish
Tony Stewart, Simona and Tanner Foust (just to **** Tracy off...)
Tracy
Rahal
Simona
Let the big dog show the two kids how it's done. Once he hangs it up replace him with RHR
Rice
Rahal
Hunter-Reay
"You can't arrest those guys, they're folk heroes"
"They're criminals"
"Well most folk heroes started out as criminals"
Vukovich, Shaw, Horn.
Take THAT you youngsters!
ZOOOM
"Doc, just set them fingers sose I can hold the wheel"
James Hurtubise, June, 1964
That is as good as it gets. The three best driver in all of American motorsports history.
My team would be Kanaan, Simona and Clauson. Kanaan would be beneficial to Simona for ovals and both Simona and Kanaan would be great teachers to CLauson for all tracks. Clauson has shown maturity and that he can drive anything with wheels. He has patience and knowledge that simply can't be taught. That would be a super team in it's second year of existence.
You might want to add Mays & DePalma
The obvious choice would be A.J. Foyt and Parnelli Jones but also on my A list would be; Gary Bettenhausen, Bobby Unser, and Rick Mears.
If we are talking active Indycar drivers then a big check mark in the "None of the above" category for me.
TK, Eddie Sachs, and Lloyd Ruby.
One of them would just have to win the 500.
If we're sticking to the living, I'd say TK, Wheldon, and developmentally, either Simona or Baguette. I wouldn't mind getting Carpenter in there for the ovals, either.

Parnelli, Bobby Unser, Dan Gurney.
"You just don't know what Indy Means" Al Unser Jr.
Man, you may be right. It would be a heck of a race, though!
You know, I've become a huge Eddie Sachs fan, reading about his wonderful personality and life. I like to think that he finally got his face up on the celestial version of the Borg-Warner. I guess it wouldnt' be the 500, though, if we didn't have stories of heartache and near-misses like that, though.
Easy!
ME, Mario, and AJ.
Current:
ME (again?), TK, Franchitti
BTW, I inisist on #1 driver status....![]()
Current drivers....
Dario for wins
Danica for sponsors
Rahal for the future
Retired drivers...
Foyt, Mears, Sullivan

Didn't read the article - substitute Wilson for Power.

What Happened?
Who's got next?
Present:
Ryan Hunter-Reay
JR Hildebrand
Past:
AJ Foyt
Dan Gurney
A.J. Foyt getting the oval wins. Michael Andretti getting the wins on road courses. And Parnelli Jones, because besides my fantasy team, I would add fantasy dirt ovals to my fantasy season.
past:
Mears
Michael Andretti
Unser Jr.
present:
Castroneves
Hornish
Montoya
Is anybody ACTUALLY READING the article in reference? If we want to talk about all drivers in history it's a different deal. The writer of this story included a short list of choices.
TK, Wheldon, and Hornish, because I want to win the 500, not the championship. Plus I want to watch the fistfights in the motorhome.
The fans should be the absolute last people considered on any decision that could effect a participant. Doc Austin
Lying was a no-brainer for me. Robin Miller
"I thought they booed [Danica] because she was being a complete jerk, but then they applauded for A.J. Foyt. Now I'm just confused."
Ok, I'm glad I read the article for referance. I was going to pick Stewart and Montoya, but now, dangit, I'm going with
Wilson and Tracy!
Servia is the backup driver, or maybe I can get him in a car later in the year, but he's damn good too.
I think it's fair to pick Hornish if you want him, even though Curt is a nice enough guy not put him on the draft list.
After seeing the list, I'd pick Tracy, Rahal, and Simona.

After reading the article, Wilson, Danica,'Rahal.
Jimmy Johnson, Kyle Busch, Tony Stewart
These three would raise rating and sponsorship of series 5x
Indy, Cleveland, Mid-Ohio, Pocono, Michigan, Long Beach, Watkins Glen, Kentucky, IRP - 49
From the list given in the article:
TK
RHR
Rahal
Tony Kanaan
J.R. Hildebrand
John Edwards (Indy Lights)
