Got one of these as a birthday gift. Like it so well I bought one for the office. The selection of T-cups for coffee and tea is amazing. A great cup of coffee quickly and cheap. (my favorite so far is Emeril's Big Easy Intense)

All rides are bought. But occasionally the currency is talent.
Had one for about 2 years. We have the K-cups. Are there 2 different types of cups out there. Overall, it is more expensive than brewing a home pot of coffee, but I love it.
My office has one that's plumbed in, so it works really well.
I like the Newman's Own Organic pods.
I have a Tassimo, rarely use it. The coffee just isn't as good as I can make with my regular drip machine. The lattes are almost tolerable but take a lot of work and ain't cheap. The regular coffee isn't as good as Starbucks French Roast run through my Krups.
I've owned a Keurig since back when there was one model. Actually, Green Mountain (who bought Keurig) is screwing themselves. They keep buying coffee roasters reducing the number of brands to choose from.
It is more expensive (around $0.44 per cup) but you can't beat it for ease of use or flexibility. For people like me who need one cup as they're headed out the door, they can NOT be beat. I used to grind beans, put in filter, add water, brew, wait, then clean all of those things.
The other beautiful thing is when my folks are in town, I can have my extra-bold "Jet Fuel", wife has her chai latte, dad has his decaf and mom has her hazelnut. Can't do that with brewed coffee. Of course, I'm spending $6 a day in coffee when they are here.
I will not be without one until something better comes along.
These caps, http://www.my-kap.com/MYK/ allow re-use of the k-cups with your own coffee, not only saving per cup costs but also allow brewing flavors not available in k-cups. And they work much better than the screen that you can purchase for your Kuerig machine.

I prefer Tassimo, but the disks are much harder to find. Keurig is a Wal-Mart and Kroger, but the only retailer around here that has Tassimo is Target, and their seclection is limited.
IMHO, reloading, reusing, re-anything totally defeats the purpose of the Keurig. If you're going to do that, you might as well grind an brew using a 4-cup mini-coffee maker. Repacking those little k-cups would take longer than just brewing...

Not really that dificult. We still use mostly the prepackaged k-cups but I do have some flavors I really like that are not available in a k-cup. Usully have those on Sunday when things are a little less rushed.
Bed Bath and Beyond carries them, pretty good variety.
Flavors? Flavored coffee? ACK!!
Love my Keruig, I too bought one for work and home.
The only flavored coffee I like is Emeril's Vanilla... but mostly reg coffee...... Started using Wolfgang Puck's Vienna coffee. very good....
Do miss my Pinion coffee though....

Not that kind of flavor....I meant different roasts and strengths....have different flavor.

Can a coffee machine really make that big a difference? Honest question, I'm not now or ever been a coffee drinker but am thinking of Christmas ideas.
Keurigs offer the taste of brewed coffee with the convienience of instant. Actually, faster and cleaner than instant.
For "One cup and out the door" they CANNOT be beat. $.45 a day for great tasting brewed coffee.
Compared to the "weekend pot" the comparison gets more complicated.

When we have coffee, it always Maxwell House, made in a drip coffee maker.
Wasn't aware of the machine until I saw this thread last week. Saw one in Costco Sunday.......$150.
Think I'll stick to my method for my daily cuppa.
Two cup Swiss Gold metal filter in a Melitta 2 cup cone. A pound of Sumatra Mandheling from a local roasting company costs $10.95 and it lasts two weeks. 'Tis the closest I've found to Kona taste at about half the cost.
Turkish grind 'cuz otherwise you have you to use too much. Takes about five minutes. Paper filters leave a bit of an aftertaste so the gold metal is perfect.
I like it strong. I add a little milk and a little sugar and get a perfect cup nearly every day.
The one without the resevoir from Bed Bath & Beyond is $100 and takes two minutes. I have Kona one day, and Emeril's Big Easy Intense the next. A cup of dark hot chocolate in the evening in front of the fire.
