26 ILMC entries should boost Sebring field

    http://auto-racing.speedtv.com/artic...list-released/

Featuring an impressive list of 26 entries through four categories, the new global sportscar championship is well represented with teams from both Europe and North America.
10 LMP1 and 3 LMP2 ought to help out the field at Sebring, and later at Petit LeMans.

Will Audi and Peugot dominate or will a dark horse ALMS only entry suprise the big dogs?
    new sig pending

Sounds good. Now it's the other 7 ALMS rounds I'm worried about (especially the prototype field).
Some fans claim one series or another runs "real race cars." What's everybody else running, fake race cars?

Here's the list with drivers (SPEED only had the cars)

    Thanks for these!

I see the 7 Puegeot is now Davidson/TBA... did that TBA used to say Bourdais?

My only complaint for ILMC races is the ALMS regulars have to sport a zero in front of their regular number. Many teams will be running 3-digits My eyes have issues with the traditional 2 digits @race speed.

Any reason for the extra zero?

Also, here is the Sebring entry list. I'll post an update of the ALMS silly season list based on this tomorrow:

Multiple cars with the same number. A couple of years ago, for example, the Puegeots were 07 and 08 at Sebring (IIRC... something like that... if you can remember Sebring you really weren't there!)

I was told the extra number is for the cars NOT running in the ILMC... its so they will stand out. Aston Martin chooses to run triple numbers... recall the #007 to promote their James Bond ties?

Flying Lizard Motorsport will be #044 & #045. Scott Sharp's Extreme Sports/ PATRON Ferrari 458's will be #001 & #002... they ran #01 +#02 last ALMS season. Sebring & PLM are ILMC races... so for the other 7 ALMS events FLM will go back to #44+#45

This above entry list is highly preliminary. The record will be broken. The RLLR BMWs and the Falken Porsche, all ALMS FTers, are not yet entered. Also missing are the Jetalliance Lotuses, which are on the ILMC FT list.

Nice entry. I thought there were to be two Lamborghinis running this year.

Also, when did Speed change their logo? Haven't been there for a long time.
    it is may
