    Iracing.com Indy500

After speaking with the man with the plan on this site, I'm designing a Brian's Wish/TrackForum.com/Child Advocates sponsored car for the top split that is being broadcast on May 28th. My sister has been a long time employee for Child Advocates, and I'm setting my Ferrari colors aside for this one race. MC, if you see this thread, hopefully you can give permission, and indeed encourage all on trackforum.com who are capable of making the top split broadcast race, to include a few Brian's Wish logos on their rides, or possibly in conjunction with TrackForum.net logos as well. Happy hunting!

Very cool, John, we're proud and happy to help out however we can.

Sounds cool! Dumb question perhaps, but what is "top split being broadcast on May 28".

The Iracing.com Indy500. 500 laps...Indycars...Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It will be broadcast live in PRN and from what I'm hearing, will be played at IMS at noon during the free fan day event the day before the real 500. The fastest 33 qualifiers in the world are the only ones in the "top split" broadcast race.

As a side note, it was hell trying to race this thing last year...3 1/2 hours...no bathroom breaks. I'll have a gatorade bottle next to me this year.

Just make sure you've drank what you wanted out of it before you use it for a local bathroom break!

Looks like John is starting 2nd tomorrow. Pretty darn impressive considering hundreds of drivers qualified.

    Good Luck!

Wow. Over 25,000 members?! That's impressive. I hope there's a free trial. Is there?

Please join in watching John Paquin again this year, Saturday, May 26 at 11am. He will be competing in iRacing.com's Indy500 broadcast race, which you can hear and see live on the internet via the link below. It's quite a production and amazing when you realize this is all being done from 33 talented qualifiers world-wide from a race car set up in their homes.

I can't add too much to make it more exciting, but these drivers on iRacing really take the sim seriously and provide some good racing. Some of the stuff on their World Championship Series is on par with excitement with some of the major real life series' of the world.
