Jimmy Kite in SC car at Milwaukee

From a PR I recieved (in part):

Veteran IndyCar driver Jimmy Kite (Indianapolis, IN) will return to the United States Auto Club (USAC) Traxxas Silver Crown Championship this weekend driving a car owned by Eddie Sachs, Jr. at the "Milwaukee Mile". Sachs - son of legendary IndyCar driver/owner Eddie Sachs - has entered the five-time Indianapolis 500 starter as driver of the No. 25 ULine Beast-Chevrolet for the June 18, 100-lap race on the one-mile, paved oval at the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds.

Faster than a bullet from a gun
    He is faster than everyone
Quicker than the blinking of an eye
Like a flash you could miss him going by
No one knows quite how he does it but it's true they say
He's the master of going faster. -George Harrison

anyone know what business Eddie Sachs Jr. is in?

I know at one time he reported at IMS every day for work

also, any word on the car counts for the Milwaukee midget and SC shows?

wish I was there- I love watching those cars slide it on the paved miles

I got to meet Eddie Sachs Jr (III) at a Lobitz function a couple of years ago. Real nice guy. Found this on a Google search:
    "
Using the name "Eddie Sachs, Jr," Eddie III became a race car driver racing on the local dirt tracks in the Midwest, unlike his famous father, he never raced in the Indianapolis 500. He has become a successful businessman owning Sachs and Associates in Lake Orion, Mi. In recent years he has been a part-time car owner in NASCAR's Busch Series."

    Hope that helps!

I seem to recall the original Eddie Sachs racing in the #25 a time or two himself in the mid 50's? Cheesman? Nice tribute.

The United States of USAC (not affiliated with USAC) is unaware of the request for new Silver Crown cars. Do the people of your nation want new Silver Crown cars for themselves? We can make some and send them to you if you like; however, they will look like the one in the picture, except they will be white and you have to find your own sponsor. Considering the advantage the Euro has over the American dollar, it has never been more affordable to have your very own American made open-wheel race car

While kind of on the subject of Milwaukee, I believe they also had a Midget race too? So, can anyone tell me how was the attendance at those races?

    [QUOTE=RS2;2690799]
It is designed to be its own separate series as a transition between traditional USAC racing and IndyCar or NASCAR. The United States of USAC (not affiliated with USAC) is currently in the process of approving it for safety, though you can see a demo of the car at the Iowa USAC Silver Crown race this weekend. If you purchase this vehicle before passing the USUNAC safety inspection, you risk being known as a racing 'outlaw', even though the car does not have a wing.

For the United States of USAC (not affiliated with USAC), the only attendance that mattered at Milwaulkee was that of Bobby East's middle finger. It was reported to be present all the way down the frontstretch while taking the checkered in the Silver Crown car.

Not very well. Ran last or next to last the entire time during the feature. He ended up finishing 12th due to attrition. In Jimmy's defense, I've seen that car run on a few occasions and it has always brought up the rear with various drivers.

I understand it was an "11th hour deal" and the United States of USAC (not affiliated with USAC) issued a commendation for his performance.

Thank you for concern. I do have a flair for the dramatic, don't I? American race cars get me very excited.

Have you considered auditioning for "America's Got Talent?" I'm sure Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel would find your act unique.

Thank you for your interest However, my television days have long since past. I did enjoy those few occasions when I was young and pretty, but nowadays I would just break camera.
