and this has what? to do with Racing Biz? Wrong forum, methinks.

Which means that NASCAR won't be going all electric anytime soon?
Is there an electric car board for this?
"You can't arrest those guys, they're folk heroes"
"They're criminals"
"Well most folk heroes started out as criminals"
Gee, I wish I had predicted that.
Oh, that's right, I did.
Uh, no, you predicted numerous times in the big Volt thread that it would never roll off the assembly line...
No, I did not, and if you have a link to where I did, please post it. I did correctly point out that Government Motors was touting a car that it at that point did not sell and had not in fact completed design of. I also correctly pointed out that Government Motors', and Chrysler's statements that it had paid the taxpayers back were lies, which was later proven true. I also predicted that the Market would reject it silly car, and it has, and that it would feature the awful build quality associated with all UAW operations, and it, according to Motor Trend, does. We then had a long discussion where you tried to explain why a government owned company making cars in 50 countries is "American" but a Toyota made in Kentucky for 95% US parts isn't.
Much too easy...
Post #30They might as well claim this never to be built car has warp drive and an built in capicino machine, since a production model will never see the showroom floor.
Post #127GM has been pushing (literally) these Volt mock-ups at every car show for 10 years.
If they knew how to make a real one, they would have long ago. If not for North America, for its larger markets in Europe and China. They simply do not. Its just pipedream goals for a car they "would" build.
Post #153The Chevrolet Volt does not exist. Not a lie the truth. Motor Trend has a glowing, even lapdog level, article on the test mule this month. It may get 100 MPG, or maybe 50. They don't know. Think of that, 17 months from supposed production and they cannot predict the gas mileage within 50% accuracy. Because the engine does not exist.
...and yes, while technically true at that point(but nobody in the thread claimed that there WERE any for sale at that point), your intent was to deny that it would be built.Went by the local Government Motors dealer.
Not one on the lot.
Still does not exist.
Here is the link to the thread: http://www.trackforum.com/forums/sho...chevrolet+volt
GM, along with falsely using my money in an election its owner lost to lie about paying me back, was, as the thread title said was "touting" a mock up car.
Now it has some vaguely similar car for sale. And the Market, in its perfection, buys a Toyota.
