"The only good horsepower is usable horsepower.."
Conor Daly kind of channeled his dad Derek's high flying act @Monaco

Race CARS Not DOGS!!! Adopt or foster a retired greyhound -Me
Conor is looking more and more like the guy with the goods to make it to F1. 8th in his first F3 showing is impressive, racing with a team he's never raced with before, a car he's never raced, at a circuit he's never raced and it was also a wet session. Also shows that he has either the backing, the connections, or both to make it to the top. All of that to go along with pace and the racer's spirit. I wasn't very high on him when he first made the move, but he has risen to the challenge big time. Looking forward to big things from him.
"It takes a special level of incompetance to make a schedule this terrible. America is possibly the greatest country in the world overall for tracks. To make a bad schedule in America takes effort. A special kind of effort. A kind of effort that only IndyCar could come up with."
Even though Alex Rossi has fizzled a little I think he's still the driver to beat when you're talking about American in the European ladder. I think the reason for Alex's subpar season is due to his team rather then Alex's lack of skill or dedication. I hope Alex can comeback but it's going be a uphill battle up a mountain unfortunately.
Rossi over Daly all day err day
Ok tubs, let me break it down for you the way your stomach breaks down countless bacon cheeseburgers.
In the last four races Conor has scored in the top 5 each race including 3 podiums. He is now only one point away from tying his teammate Daniel Abt and even though he's still 28 points away from his other teammate Aaro Vainio if things keep up the way they have been it'll be a tight fight until the end. Great job Conor! Now get some wins to go along with those podiums.
Nice aggressive driving in Hockenheim race 2, went from 7th to 3rd in half a lap.
Maybe a bit too late for a title charge, but he has a great shot for a championship podium.
What did Daly finish in race 1 this weekend and did he beat Abt and Vainio? Will this weekend be televised?
He got beaten by his 2 team-mates unfortunately. Abt finished 3rd. Vainio had a mega lap in quali and started from pole, but he messed up his start completely, and finished 5th.
BTW, Da Costa won and passed Daly at the championship standings.
There's still a lot of racing to do and Conor has proven that it only takes one race weekend to catch up to his rivals. Conor fighting!!!
So Conor Daly is at Mid-Ohio today. Said on IMS radio network that next year should be GP3 or World Series by Renault for him.
So, Conor finished 6th overall in 2012 GP3. Team-mates Abt and Vainio were 2nd and 4th.
Conor will be testing at Barcelona in World Series by Renault for 2012 teams' champions Tech 1 Racing, today and tomorrow.

The Tech 1 seat doesn't seem to be that bad. If he gets that seat he'll be in a good spot to win the title. Alex Rossi, Robert Wickens, and now Daly all seem to be going down the same road but I hope one day one of these guys well find a ride in F1.
