$3.69 today at a QuikTrip about 4 or 5 miles East of TMS in Roanoke, TX. So yep, getting a little better. But yesterday I still saw $3.98 at a Shell station about 40 miles North of TMS on I-35.

$4.19 here in the Portland, OR metro area.
3.859 in Westallica this morning.
It's a Hoosier thing, you wouldn't understand...
Not only are prices dropping, but my favorite spike line source estimates an unusually high 35-cent margin in Indy, which means prices should continue to fall steadily in the short term.*

Cancer sucks.
The NW side in the Zionsville/Western Carmel area seems to have the highest gas prices. Funny how they are close to a tank farm also. I have quit buying gas there and instead make sure I fill up in the Castleton/Fishers area when I am over there. Good for at least 10 cents a gallon savings.
Just got word that gas will be going up to $5.18 per US gallon at midnight in the Greater Toronto Area. Yipee!

Still an 18-cent margin in Indy, so prices should continue their slow decline in the short term.
Indy area
Cheapest: $3.659
Highest: $3.999
Average: $3.794
(National average: $3.888)
Just like last year, I set my Indy 500 budget on the assumption that gas would be $5 when I left home.
I always prefer having too much money in the travel budget
Looks like I will be under budget again this year
Im furious that its now $50 to fill my small pick up but thats better than $75-$80 to fill it
$3.65-$3.75 about the norm in SC today. Shoots up 15-20 cents as soon as you hit Exit 1 in North Carolina

As of 1/1/12, NC's gas tax was a whopping 22.4 cents/gallon higher than SC's.

... and it's our gas you're pumping, at least mostly. What's wrong with this picture? Canada is the only exporter of petroleum that does not have a "home market' price. Sheeesh! Good thing we like small cars ... and it's no wonder we do!

^^ yeah, but you get a free heart transplant with each fill up.![]()
And the "good times" appear to be over, as the margin has closed. There could be a spike in Indy this weekend.
In Indy, it appears that Speedway stations are part of a mini-spike back up to $3.999.
It might be a good idea to fill up in the $3.60s or $3.70s NOW if you're low on fuel.
Statewide drop in gas prices today. 6-8 cents less today than they were yesterday. I saw $3.54 at a couple places today
I gassed up tonight for $3.46. Down from a high of $3.69.

Bump. I saw regular unleaded @ $3.16 in Columbia on Monday. Dropping like a rock right now. We passed that same station on Saturday morning and it was $3.31. When I was going home late Satruday night it was $3.26. and it lost another 10 cents by Monday
Up from $3.78 to $3.99 on the SE Side of Indy today... 21 cents in 2 days.
Got an eye-opener last week about how much gas prices fluctuate depending on where you are and who's doing the taxing.
I flew from KC to Denver, then drove up to Laramie, Wyoming, for an aunt's funeral. Here's what I saw:
Gas in Olathe, KS., day of flight to Denver: $3.49 per gallon
Gas in Denver (just outside of DIA) when I picked up rental car: $3.85 per gallon
Gas prices noticed on drive up from Denver, through Colorado: $3.79 to $3.83 per gallon
Gas in Laramie: $3.69 per gallon
Gas prices noticed on drive back to Denver, through Colorado: $3.79 to $3.83 per gallon
Gas just outside of DIA when dropping off rental car: $4.06 per gallon![]()

Gas in Olathe when I got home: $3.41 per gallon
Saw gas prices all over the place this past weekend riding my motorcycle thru IL, IA and WI. Thankfully not in Cook Co. where taxes make gas second highest in the nation to Honolulu.
That's gotta be an anomaly. I don't see any $3.999s on indygasprices.com, and there are only 12 stations in the entire metro area above $3.899. The area average is $3.777 -- down two cents from yesterday and 7.5 cents in the past week.
All of Speedway's (the market leader's) official prices in Indy, posted on their web site, are $3.869 or lower.
It was $3.69 last night in Avon and Mom said in Plainfield yesterday it was $3.65 but it was still $3.78 on the westside of Indy. I saw it jump from $3.73 to $3.99 in one day at the Speedway at 10th and Girl's School last week.

-shrug- All I know is I was kicking myself hard for waiting to fill up the rental until I got to the Conoco just off Pena Boulevard by all the rental companies. $3.85 two days before, $4.05 when I got back--far higher than anywhere else I'd seen, including Denver. Luckily I only had to put in half a tank...
Last Wednesday our local Marathon was $3.64/gal, Thursday it was $3.89/gal, Friday it was $3.69/gal. What was that all about?Today it is $3.54/gal.
Still hanging at $4.25 in Anchorage, Alaska. I expect it to start going back up in the Lower 48 in 3-4 weeks. Remember that refiners stop using butane for summer gas and replace it, usually with ethanol which costs more.
