Is NJ kicking in dough for this? And can the state afford it? The Soprano Super Price.
    It's a Hoosier thing, you wouldn't understand...

Snookie and her pals kicked in some dough as public service to restore the states reputation after their many less than complimentary deeds.
Congratulations to RHR, & all the winning drivers & teams in the fantastic 2012 season. Looking forward to 2013!

Well, I suppose something has to give, but it sounds like they are pairing it with Montreal. That said, I'm a bit surprised that the Jersey race is being considered, but I guess Bernie knows of a decent hotel in New York.

As far as what race loses out, It sounds like Korea may have difficulty making it to 2012.

New Jersey street race set to be confirmed

And so we came to Road America where we burned up at the lake, but at the speedway of Nazareth I made no mistake

I like the idea of the circuit possibly being near the banks of the Hudson with the NY syline in the background.

I only see one possible logical circuit based on the current roads along the Hudson in the area. Doesn't look too conducive to a good circuit and it would need lots of work, IMO.
If you break a vase and then glue it back together and the vase loses it's value, you do not get credit for fixing it. You get the blame for damaging it....

Please make it stop. Please. F1 on street courses? This race should be at Watkins Glen or Elkhart Lake. Not in a parking lot. Maybe I can enter a kart and actually qualify.

If this race comes off (which it won't) then I'll give Snooki a big kiss on her lips.

Will every car entered require an EZ Pass tag for their windscreen?

I'm excited. This will be just up the road from me here in Maryland. Have a friend that just moved to Long Island.

Sort of agree, but it just goes to show how much money is sitting on the sidelines in the economy and the high rollers have it to burn, and Uncle Bernie is only so happy to take it....

Lee Roy, we could just commute daily on Amtrak to the track. Think Uncle Bernie would care to join our commute as I am sure being so close to DC he would perfer to stay at the Willard then those 3 start hotels in NYC!

How true. I'm sure he would, but I imagine he'd want to travel by Acela.

Seriously, this course looks crap. Looks like a MAJOR repaving and reconstruction project to meet F1 standards, though bernie is apparently so desperate to get his fingers on what's left of wall street, he must be relaxing track standards.... ALOT.

*** has turn by turn photos of the rumoured track location.

I seriously want to know where the money is coming from for that project. There's no way New Jersey can justify an F1 grade expenditure to taxpayers in their current budget situation if that is all public streets.

Might be quicker for both of you if he comes and stays with you in MD that weekend.

Crazy how they climb that hill up to JFK BLVD. wow, how uninspiring of an area for a F1 venue. Pretty pathetic looking actually compared to something like Singapore. Looking at hte pictures, it could have some interesting features, but man is there a lot of work to do there.

Surprised there's no gentlemen's clubs on the route.
