I like the long pass to start the game. Interesting that it's not to Wayne.
Also completed a pass to a tight end not named Dallas Clark.

One glaring problem with painter is his play clock management.
"Any time that I can be out at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, you're going to see a smile on my face." - Dan Wheldon
"It's crazy how the Indianapolis Motor Speedway can make you so emotional. I went from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows in less than 24 hours." - Alex Tagliani
The defense looks pathetic, or perhaps Brees and Company are just looking that good. IMO, Painter is doing a decent enough job and has proven that he's good enough to be a NFL caliber backup; however, I agree he needs a bit of work with clock management.
Nice explosive run by Carter...broke a few tackles.
And he fumbles.... Good grief.
The defense is getting just hammered....where's the defense at? Playing zone coverage and not moving from a single spot on the field? It's like playing fusbol when the other guy doesn't know his men can move side to side.
Can we just see more live shots of Faith Hill???? It would be much better than the game, that's for sure.
Me thinks heads need to roll tomorrow....either caldwell fire the defensive coordinator or Caldwell gets fired...this is an embarrassment of epic proportions.
The colts d body language just looks grim...
This team can play better.....they need to play as a team. The coaching is probably not the answer, it was good enough a couple of years ago to field a pretty good team

I got my first glimpse of Luck last night. I'm okay with an 0-16 season.
Colts are pathetic. This defense is awful.

Anybody want to talk football?
He must have gone to the same school as Andy Reid (who is getting torched in Philly)...
TD may have gone a little too far, but I'm sick of the Katrina stuff too. It was 2005! There have been horrible weather tragedies every year since and most people have picked up and tried to get their lives back together. The multi-generational welfare society that permeated the poor areas of New Orleans has allowed this to drag on far too long. Sorry for dragging your thread OT.
Back on topic, it's hard to believe that the Colts have fallen this far, this fast. Manning is obviously a huge loss, but he doesn't play defense.
I was talking about what NBC wanted to show us during the Colts game.
I'm not sure how you believe an 0-16 Colts team has a lower than expected chance of getting Luck. Obviously there is a chance that the Rams & Dolphins can go 0-16 but that's the only way our chances are less. Is he the 2nd coming? Nobody will know until he joins the league but that's the same way it was when we drafted Peyton.
Not only is that a significant chance -- it's not the only chance. Some people don't realize that Luck has another year of eligibility if he wants it. Why would he play another year, you might ask? Well, he might do it if it looks like he's going to be drafted by a team he doesn't want to play for. And even if he wants to go pro, there's no guarantee that he'll want to play for the team who drafts him -- especially if he has to sit the next three seasons on the bench.
But we played our butts off in 1997. We weren't a good team, but I was proud of the effort and the three victories.

"In the land of freedom we are held hostage by the tyranny of political correctness...If we speak..we say it the wrong way; if we do not speak we are cowards…."
Whoda thunk Seattle would have a better record than the Colts?
Jan. 7, 2011:
He is on schedule to graduate in June, but he could still play next season.Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck, the odds-on favorite to be the No. 1 pick in this spring's NFL draft, announced Thursday he will stay in school and play his redshirt junior season.
What's caldwell's excuse going to be this time? This is a type of performance that should cost Caldwell his job
BTW, I'm not hoping for 0-16. That's pretty sick, IMO.
I'm hoping for 9-7. Yes, I understand what the chances are.
