I'd be curious to see a list of F1 drivers by nationality and see the number of races on the F1 schedule raced in each driver's home country.

Feeling like John Galt in a world of James Taggarts
24 out of the 28 drivers that competed in the 2011 schedule had a home race.
Only Pastor Maldonado, Hiekki Kovalianen, Vitaly Petrov and Sergio Perez don't have a home race
Although Pedro De La Rosa and Daniel Ricciardo raced in 20011 they didn't compete in there home races
which means 85.71% of drivers had a home race and 78.57% raced in there home race
Rough estimates because it's an ever-changing number but over the last few years IICS has run 75% of its races in one country while the field has had 75% 'other than Americans' on the grid. I'm not trying to make any assumptions and I personally don't care one way or the other, but how would the UK fans, for example, feel if 75% of the F1 races were run between Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Donington and only Lewis and Jensen were the only Brits in the races each week? Would it be out of line to think that some of the fans would lose interest with F1?
Some would but i wouldn't. I really don't give a damn, if the racing is good so be it. The nearest comparison to what you mean i guess would be British Formula 3. In the last 12 years 2 british drivers have won the championship. Mike Conway did it in 2006. There are a large percentage of foriegn (even non european drivers) in that series this year. But a series called British F3 as raced in recent years due to its close proximity to France and Germany and have also raced in Portugal, Italy and Romania.
What makes me laugh is NASCAR saying they have to many foriegn drivers. Montoya and Ambrose (Full Timers)
Crap, delete.
#14, #99 and now #12 joins my favorite racers.
