Controversy, lots of stuff torn up and a local boy whips the Outlaws. His first Outlaw win in nearly 6 years.

Kerry Madsen has won the Brad Doty Classis at Limaland Motorpark in Ohio. Stevie Smith was 2nd.
Unofficially Steve Kinser and Donnie Schatz are tied for the points lead heading to Eldora Friday night.
I'll post the entire rundown in the morning when it's available.

Be sure and check the points. It's amazing how close it is!
BTW, Kasey Kahne finished 8th and Tony Stewart finished 10th in the B-Main and did not transfer to the A-Main.

If you've never seen a Kings Royal, and you're a sprint car fan, you should see it at least once.

So does that count as half an Outlaw win and half a Posse win? Good race with a lot of cautions. I haven't been keeping up like some of you guys do so I was pleasantly surprised to see Smoke there. Rahmer's flip was pretty crazy from where I was. I want to see the video of it. Good run by a bunch of guys from deep in the field.

Note the points race! Five drivers within 49 points. That's unheard of at this point of the season.

It was not quite as good as being there, but it was a very good night of racing.
The Outlaws always put on an excellent show at Eldora!

Although I am a native Ohioan, my current home is 510 miles from Rossburg, but where I am now is 701 miles away. So, there wasn't much choice...

Next up for the Outlaws is a trip to the Bloomington Speedway.
My buddy and I were thinking heavily about attending this one but the weather and
the $35 general admission price were just too much!
I paid $35 for the Kings Royal for heaven's sake!

Plus, you'd have to get there early, very early, to get a decent parking place and/or seat. Hope the weather holds out.

Well, I'm always there when the gate opens. I had a friend who used to say "if I'm not there when the key hits the gate, then I'm late." I agree with my friend.
