    Karbashians & Sponsor Blockers

A minor complaint, I suppose, but I'm tired of reading the terms "karbashian" and "sponsor blocker."

The piece on the back on the car is called the rear wheel guard. I don't know the proper name for the "sponsor blocker", but I know that isn't it.

Anybody else tired of these two less-than-clever nicknames?

No. How about a hippo on a barstool?

What is even worse than the Kardashians (sic) is the part of the bodywork in FRONT of the rear wheel. Don't know what the heck that ugly knob is, but it sure isn't a designed part. Some uncaring soul just created a cone and glued a quarter of it on the left, a quarter on the right, and had parts left over to put on another car.

I thought it was Carbashians, not Karbashians. Now I'm outraged.
Congratulations to RHR, & all the winning drivers & teams in the fantastic 2012 season. Looking forward to 2013!

YES! The whole karbashian thing is stupid. It can go away any time now.

    Yes.

Of course, I've seen the Karbashian name thrown out mostly by the same guy who ridicules USAC drivers any time he can and is the one person on the planet who thinks those silly little numbers on the rear wing that a few teams are running look good. So obviously the guy is a little bit out there.

i tend to always agree with vic mackey, so "yes", but i know it doesn't matter. when we have drivers and iics staff poking at the negativity toward the sport on here, i know it won't matter until those negative posters find another place to haunt.

Why would anyone name a piece of a race car after a "look at me" narcisictic no talent family? It just shows how silly some people can be.

Did Kris Jenner send out a Cease and Desist order on this practice? Leave her alone everybody knows it's hard out there for a Pimp.

They look like dingleberries to me. Occasionally Scooter used to get dingleberies, but he knew how to deal with it.

IMHO, the IICS missed a golden opportunity to create a very exciting and cool-looking car. Giving cute names to the fuglier bits of the DW12 is more than appropriate.

Based on this thread, maybe they should be called "pantywadders."
