    DW12 Honda Turbo

Wow, things are awful slow around here.....lol

Anybody really know for sure where Honda's turbo is mouted? And what those 2 pieces of flex-pipe are for?

They have everything covered up pretty well, and the header bags don't help to see anything. The more and more I look at these pictures, the more I think it is mounted in the center underneath the bell housing/engine connection. It makes sense from a COG perspective and I can see the exhaust piping from both sides routing to this location and wastegates on both sides however, im not sure what the 2 small pipes (flex-pipe) on each side are for????

Also very interesting the way they've got the intake set up through the bell housing, id really like to see how this whole system is set up.

Crap, caught again. I made the assumption that since the headline said "Honda" the photo was related.

But now I'm looking at the Honda...

The Turbo is at the right rear corner of the engine. Those flex tubes look like breathers for the "Exhaust bags". I don't know if they put a fresh air inlet tube going into the "Exhaust bags", but that's my guess.
"IRL" ... what IS that anyway?

Ok, i see it now, not in the center of the car so much but close and with the piping running across the chassis. Makes sense for the flex tubes being breathers on the header bags, it looks like there is some flex piping leading into the bag as an inlet from the pic on the right side

Now that finally make sense as to why the plumbing is all done up the way it is. The turbo is in the bell housing, learn something new every day lol.

I love how in that video, Marshall Pruett calls pullrod suspension old tech, when last year's Ferrari and this years Ferrari and McLaren are using pullrod suspension.

People are still using incandescent light bulbs. Doesn't mean they're not "old tech."
