They are a good team...but not as good as IU is making them look.

Crean mercifully pulls Hulls from the game. That poor kid was just getting destroyed out there.

That charge call on Zeller was huge. Might have been correct, but if that gets called a block it's likely a 2pts game. Simply huge.

VCU keeps taking stupid shots. They've really let IU back into the game. That was a really unwise 3 that led to IU's shot to take the lead. IU has to defend for 13 more seconds.

Some credit goes to the IU defense. VCU went ahead 57-48 with 12:40 to play, and have only scored 4 points since.

IU finishes on a 15-4 run against the team the announcers said was much better conditioned than them. How can that be?!!?

Welcome back to the Sweet 16, IU!!!

Definitely credit to the IU D, but (IMO) VCU settled for WAY too many 3's. But I guess they've played that way a lot...

Awesome!!! Going back to the Sweet 16. Not too bad for a team that can't win away from home, eh?

Our defense won this game for us... how long has that been?

Sweet 16 and before the season started the best I had hoped for was an invite to the N.I.T.

Not much of an inside game for VCU. Seems they depend on the 3 and transition baskets. When Crean took the ball out of Hulls hands, the transition baskets stopped for VCU, and their half court offense was lousy/IU defense good.

Congrats to the IU faithful. That was a hard fought win and an outstanding game. Just hope my Boilers can hang with Kansas tomorrow.

Seth Davis backpedaling at a rate that would please a defensive back at the NFL combine.

Shaka Smart showed a lot of class after the game when shaking hands with Crean,

let the rumors to Illinois begin

That's what many need to remember. IU is playing with house money.

I'll tell you what...Dan Dakich has said for days that VCU can't score late. I don't know how or why he figures it out but he's 100% correct.

One of the more interesting points I heard tonight was regarding Watford bringing the ball up court...he can see over the press. Jordy couldn't see anything.

This year it's certainly earner. I don't think there's any question about it. It seems like we had about a decade of getting 5 or 6 teams into the big dance when only about 2 actually belonged there. It's good to see the Big Ten is back.

I never thought we could out "havoc" them, and out gut them.. most of their missed shots deep in the second half was because of fatigue.. and I did not think that would happen

Almost like clubbing a baby seal. 25-0 runs have a way of doing that.
    It's a Hoosier thing, you wouldn't understand...
