Indycar deserves to fail because of no tv for canada

Great field of drivers, exciting new car and engine competition, fans like myself with 2 valuable hours set aside on a Sunday afternoon- and there is no way to watch the race in my country, which has an exciting young driver on the front row.

So frustrated and once again asking myself why I bother.

I understand the frustration. With all the talk of growth, I'm not sure what we are witnessing isn't actually the opposite.

I get the guys point totally. It is hard to be a fan when you don't live in America. And from what I have been reading it is hard to be a fan even in America. It just does not have to be that way.

TSN2 @ 5pm ET. Sounds like 2pm your time. What's your main malfunction other than the delay?

I don't believe IndyCar deserves to fail, but they definitely don't seem to care about Canadian and European fans.

It does when nobody wants IndyCar except ABC which doesn't seem to know how to do a good broadcast anymore and a channel which not many people in the US even get. It isn't like Randy is thinking "Ha-ha-ha, now even less people can watch this, huzah!" This hurts his pocket too...

I don't understand why people blame IndyCar for bad coverage. Networks choose what programming they will invest in, with investment being both broadcast time and payment to IICS for broadcast rights. If you want to complain, complain to the networks. IndyCar can't force anyone to cover the sport whether live or tape delay.

If you want to B&M, at least direct it at the responsible people and those that might be able to fix the problem.
Congratulations to RHR, & all the winning drivers & teams in the fantastic 2012 season. Looking forward to 2013!
We are all together now. Goal 22-24 races per year split 50:50 oval:RC/SC

Couldn't have said it better. Short of IndyCar doing a time buy, there's not much for the series to do. And if they offered pay-per-view you'd hear people b***h about that.
    It's a Hoosier thing, you wouldn't understand...

Indycar made a broadcast deal with a provider who didn't choose to show the race live. They do not provide any alternative streaming options.

In the end it should be Indycar's mandate to service their fanbase. I have been a decades long advocate of AOW racing but I can't in good conscience recommend the sport any longer.

is there a website/ torrent site that uploads the race after its over? I'm able to download all F1 races from demonoid.me but with no DVR I have trouble catching INDY.

I think you should watch F-1 or Champ cars.

Your logic is a**backwards my friend. If you really wanted to see it live, make a trip across the border. Don't blame poor Canadian TV coverage on IndyCar. Ernest
