    They got a waiver for the v10. Great for them and alms but can't see lemans in their future.

    The waiver came from the ACO so Viper could race at Le Mans. This better debut at or before Road America.

    Road America or Road Atlanta?

    The long straights of Road America would be as rough as the 10 hours of PLM @Road Atlanta. My guess is the Viper will debut @Mid ohio in early August like the Corvette GT2 did...

    I found this tidbit interesting:

    Built purely as a racing car with partner Riley Technologies, the Viper GTS-R uses a de-stroked V-10 with 8.0 liters of displacement, and parity rules will likely limit the big powerplant to just over 4000 rpm.

    The Viper will be making it's debut at Mid Ohio! Lucky for those attending!! Was hoping the car would be in Mosport.
