While I agree it's probably time to retire that board, I think it still gets more traffic than the Insiders forum.

I can't even access that forum. It's locked which would explain the lack of posts.
I'm sure you can access it - it probably just doesn't display any posts for you because of your settings. Change your "Thread Display Options" from "Last Two Days" or whatever to "From the Beginning" - (see the lower left corner of the forum index page).
The forum isn't taking any new posts in there, but they are all there to view, for posterity.

Just throwing things against the wall here but perhaps a forum where all photos get sent?
I mean we now have seperate historic photo threads for Indy, NASCAR and generic stock cars.
Perhaps readers would like a central location to be able to see all the phots that are constantly being uploaded to TF.
