To say nothing of Gackland....
I really appreciate that the Powers that Be are keeping the CE forum hidden. Were it not for Ren popping out from time to time to post to feedback how wonderful the private CE forum is, none of the excluded would even have to think about it. I hope it stays this way. It strikes me as the perfect solution.
Sifaka
That would be a completely faulty mischaracterization of what I'm doing (surprise).
Cancer sucks.
Have to agree with Ren there- every post he's made here was useful information in direct and fairly immediate response to a post by someone else. And we have no desire or intention of keeping it hidden. I think we as a community have been able to gain new insights by both the "experiment" as well as the responses outside of it.
"The series may be hesitant to say it, but the day is here for everybody that loves IndyCar racing to link arms and help each other out. Anybody who doesn’t want to do that needs to find something else to do with their time.”

It's not "VIP" - it's just troll-free. One thing we've learned is that the people most likely to troll are also those most likely to complain about being trolledThey also don't seem to mind, really, and actually prefer all the drama and diversion to bep;layed out and displayed in full.
We are trying to select based on those with a low tendency to react, as well as a low tendency to tempt reactions.
Media Boy posted a picture, taken by his wife, of me and MB at my wedding -- and our heads were replaced by Futurama characters'.
Even though your point missed badly, thanks for reminding me of that picture! I haven't looked at that for a while. Always good for a chuckle.
Edit: Post #18 here!
I used to miss lurking in the CE forum until reading the BS posted in the short lived healthcare thread today.
It was a product that was subject of a Rock Hudson - Doris Day film epic.

In 'Crispy's Cursing the Darkness forum' there is a thread entitled "Engine Competition: Humbug" In that thread two forum members seem to be a bit over the edge. Crispy called ambig88 a liar and ambig88 said Crispy was full of crap. The issue is not abortion, Obama, Romney, right wing or left wing nor the split. The issue is the upcoming Indy 500 and the engine issue. DIA responded twice after the aforementioned comments. I thought this type of thing went on only on the old CE forum. Perhaps I was wrong. I've mentioned this 'uncivil' issue before, but, I was told by one member 'I think the distinction is that if you come to a forum about IndyCar racing, you can reasonably expect the split to come up as a topic from time to time. Abortion or the death penalty, not so much.' Will Crispy's Forum be closed and re-opened only to a select few until uncivil posting on that forum can be cleansed or will I be excoriated for mentioning this issue?
Can I get exfoliated?
I have no interest in being on the CE Forum, but this is just a technical question:
Why is it that the other two forums I do not have access to (Inside Track and Mod's Forum) show up as private in the Forum Index while CE doesn't even show up at all?
Some fans claim one series or another runs "real race cars." What's everybody else running, fake race cars?
INDYCAR - NOW IZODIER THAN EVER!
