Most surpising thing seen on the broadcast

Had to be the Budweiser commercials. They were on Barber, maybe even St. Pete.

They were honestly so out of place since they haven't been involved for so long I almost couldn't believe they were on. My hope would be that, despite so many here saying they are cutting back on motorsports, they are testing the waters to see about sponsoring a car and maybe races. With no other beer brand, not counting Brazilian brews, they might want to get in before anybody else.

Since they have Chevys in NASCAR with RCR and Harvick that might be a way to connect them with a team. I just don't see many drivers in the field now who they would try to use to sell beer. If I was putting it all together, Buddy Rice in a Panther car would make the most sense.

Beer Wagon wars at Indy once again would be absolutely fantastic.

The "commercial" aspects all looked really good--lots of signage and lots of Toyota commercials (at a race they don't have cars/engines in). No real sponsor-free cars that I saw, either.

Yes, if you count Sonny's BBQ, The Boy Scouts, Mi-Jack and TrueCar (to go along with the unsponsored car that started on the outside of the front row) then you are correct.

What new primary sponsors do we have this year too? Fuzzy's increased their involvement, so I'll give you that one. The good thing is we have retained most of the primary's from 2011 (multi-year deals are a good thing, aren't they?). But new sponsors, not brought to a team by Rubens Barrichello? Few and far between.
