That's been my comment on ratings for a long time, Chris. For at least as long as the Vs contract.
There have been some real increases during the last couple of years, but I'm not sure this one exceeds the typical random deviation.

2005 Nashville .03 on ESPN PRIMETIME.
My mistake it was a 0.3
Still not real stellar.
It was a visually nice looking race.
Lots of great signage around the track, the cars were well turned out, and it's always cool to see the Queen Mary.
Nice of Toyota, too, to run some big boy commercials.
What would be really cool is if races like this were on FOX and viewers were sent to the race at the end of the day's NASCAR event (or vice versa). Now 'ol DW HE can promote!
Final was a .32? Usually the numbers go up instead of down.

I'd rather have 10% of the world interested in the ICS than 50% of US that NASCAR currently has
Final from @NBCSports was .32, up 45 percent from both last year's rating (.22) and viewers. Through 2 races, 0.24 is up 9 percent from .22 -- Jeonna Fryer (@JennaFryer)
@pressdog A different number, that NBC doesn't use, is they did a .46 in households that have the network. -- Jenna Fryer (@JennaFryer)
I think we'll be shocked with how many apples/oranges numbers we've been trying to compare in the past.
